Starting Note
The plan for this game is not yet clear, but the intention behind the game is to create a simulation of a world, that the player can interact with and watch as it changes. This obviously sounds a lot like another game, World Box, which is a big inspiration for this game. But I have different plans for my games, still giving the player a world to work with, that allows for them to watch towns and kingdoms grow, but moving away from the Fantasy setting that World Box has, and instead moving towards a sci-fi setting. Allowing for the villagers and kingdoms to advance through technology, and create vehicles, weapons, and other things that would make the game very interesting to play and watch.
What is next?
The main thing that I will be focusing on adding for the time being is better art for the game, I am not an artist, but when a game looks good, I can take more pride in it, so that is a main focus for the game. Another thing that I will be focusing on is to majorly improve performance. Currently when zooming out on maps larger than 512, the framerate of the game will drop majorly, and therefore my aim is to fix that problem before adding anything else that will hurt the performance of the game.
